IsDB Scholarship 2025-2026 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. This scholarship is offered for undergraduate, masters, PhD and post doctoral studies. Islamic Development Bank Scholarship provides monthly stipend, tuition fees, medical support and travel allowance.

Islamic Development Bank in Saudi Arabia is a bank that has been working in non-part countries since 1983 to foster innovation and learning sharing between part countries and Muslim people. The scholarship program of the Full Tuition Islamic Development Bank aims to attract qualified male and female learners and to assemble the correct abilities.

IsDB Scholarship is available in non-part countries for citizens of any of the IsDB part countries and group of Muslim people. This scholarship will be provided to students of the Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Research. The programs are intended to attract skilled male and female learners and create the correct skills to empower communities with a unique focus on “Sustainability Science” in line with the authorized areas to promote Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarship, candidate must fulfill all of the following requirements below:

  • Required Language: English
  • Eligible Countries: IsDB member countries. Check List Here

For Undergraduate Program: 

  • The eligible candidates should Complete senior secondary education (or the equivalent of approximately 12 years of education) with good grades in major subjects.
  • Not in receipt of any other scholarship; and
  • Be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

For Master Program: 

  • Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing;
  • Preferably have work and/or research experience.
  • Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the programme stating its scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
  • Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

For PhD Study:

  • Have Master’s degree in one of the fields of study of the programme.
  • Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing;
  • Preferably have work and/or research experience.
  • Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the programme stating its scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
  • Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

For Post-doctoral Research:

  • Have PhD degree in one of approved fields of the programme.
  • Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing.
  • Have not less than two (2) years of experience in the field of research.
  • Must have a record of publications/research in the same field.
  • Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the programme stating its scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
  • Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

For Vocational Education Training (VET):

  • Citizens of any of the 21 IsDB LDMCs Countries.
  • Completed high school with minimum good grades in major subjects;
  • Not in receipt of any other scholarship; and
  • Be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

Obligations:

  • Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection
  • Sign the IsDB’s prescribed Scholarship Agreement stating their commitment to their studies and serve their communities and countries upon graduation;
  • Devote themselves to their studies on a full-time basis and without interruption and provide the IsDB with progress reports on their studies on a regular basis;
  • Not to seek or accept other scholarship or remunerated work during their study under the Programme;
  • Respect the laws of the country of study and maintain good personal and professional conduct consistent with the rules, regulations and objectives of the Programme and the overall mission of the IsDB;
  • Register to the IsDB Alumni after graduation to network with other alumnus and keep updating the IsDB about their progress and achievements in their communities/countries.

Note: You will also have to fulfill the admission requirements which will be varied according to the chosen university or course.

  1. Take admission in the desired college or university.
  2. Fill the IsDB scholarship application form.
  3. After registration, You will receive a message shortly, through your email, including your username and password for you to access your account.
  4. For Undergraduate Scholarship, upload following documents:
    • Upload National ID\Passport.
    • Upload Certified true copy of Birth Certificate.
    • Upload Certificate of Good Health from a medical doctor or a hospital.
    • Upload Certified true copy of High School transcripts’ certificate.
    • English Language Proficiency Certificate (ILETS, TOEFL, etc.).
  5. For Masters Scholarship, upload following documents:
    • Upload National ID\Passport.
    • Upload Curriculum Vitae/CV.
    • Upload Certificate of Good Health from a medical doctor or a hospital.
    • Upload B.Sc. degree and transcripts.
